Henrique started his Government & Private Sector Relations experience 14 years ago in Brasilia at the External Affairs Office of Shell. While in Brasilia, he has also worked as a market intelligence consultant for the World Bank and Organization of American States, in close collaboration with the Ministries of Agriculture, Trade and External Affairs. He moved on to become project director at Focus Report, a Paris-based specialist consultancy where he conducted Country Reports on the Pharma and Energy sectors of 9 emerging and developed economies in Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
After six years abroad, he returned to Brazil to assist on the privatization, internationalization and, eventually, the IPO of Latin America's biggest reinsurer, IRB, coordinating the market intelligence team responsible for navigating the constant regulatory changes of this highly regulated sector.
Henrique has a degree in International Relations from the University of Brasilia and a M.A. degree in International Economic Relations from FLACSO-Argentina and University of Barcelona, Spain.
